ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Required Skills : IND AS, Financial Preparation, GST, MIS, Covenant Testing, and Income Tax.
2. Maintaining the finance and accounting practices by group policies, regional policies, Regional SOPs, and regulatory and general accepted accounting principles.
3. Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the management and make actionable recommendations on strategy
4. Ensure management and operational policies and procedures for operational activities are efficient and in line with approved budgetary allocations and meet all legal statutes.
5. Providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends to assist the Regional HO and Board in performing their responsibilities
6. Provide insurance, legal, and taxation advice to management, including consulting with relevant advisers in conjunction with the Vertical CFO and relevant SPOCs.
7. Focus on performance management, forecasting, and prescriptive analysis
8. Establish and implement internal controls, finance policies and procedures, administrative and IT systems to ensure that the organization's day-to-day operational activities are efficient and effective, and are in line with approved strategic initiatives and budgetary allocations
9. Works with the Business Head and the Functional Head to proactively eliminate financial and legal risk to the Company
10. Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met
11. To ensure all tax compliances and timely filing of the Quarterly / Annual statutory return relating to taxes.
12. Attend to the tax assessments and statutory authorities in connection with taxation issues as and when required
13. Review the work of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Payroll and ensure proper internal controls..
14. Liaise with Operations, Maintenance, Stores, IT, and Human Resource Department to exercise effective accounting, financial & budgetary controls.
15. Ensure that all MIS reports are submitted with accuracy as per the deadline.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
1. Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
2. 02 – 03 years post-qualification experience, some of which preferably gained in a large logistics management environment.
