Senior Backend Engineer - Node.js / NestJS

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain the backbone of our telehealth applications. You will play a key role in architecting services, managing deployment environments, and ensuring that our systems are secure, efficient, and reliable at scale.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. Architect, optimize, and implement solutions using Node.js, Nest.js, and modern backend frameworks.
• Manage databases, integrations, and real-time data flow across platforms.
• Oversee product deployment environments including AWS (EC2 instances, Lambda, S3 RDS, etc. ). Work with Firebase for authentication, cloud functions, and real-time databases.
• Implement and manage Postmark (transactional email service) for secure communication. Ensure security, compliance, and performance for sensitive healthcare data.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA to deliver end-to-end features.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and CI / CD best practices for deployment.
