Overview :
The position holder will be primarily responsible for all forecasting activities related to customers and products for all brands and channels of the company. The person will be responsible to create and maintain forecasting models by incorporating business intelligence and forecast information
gathered from sales, marketing, new product development team and other relevant stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end forecasting process for different brands and channels
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical models and evaluate forecast results
- Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine
- the forecast models to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions
- Regular reporting to Senior and executive management of the demand plan and KPIs
- Interact with sales, marketing and NPD to understand demand forecast drivers
- Provide input to Supply Planning in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs volume planning for latest estimates
- Constantly engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment in lead times, inventory days, liquidation plans and inventory ageing.

Graduate / MBA in Operations / Supply Chain ManagementSkills and expertise required :
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business analytics or any field of engineeringAdvance knowledge of MS ExcelSolid understanding of demand planning and inventory managementVery strong statistical skillsStartup experience is preferable
