Role Description

This is a  full-time, remote role  (preference for candidates based in  India ). As an  Automation Engineer  at Solo Work Inc., you will design, build, deploy, and operate AI-powered automation systems that replace manual workflows with reliable, production-grade automation.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing complex automation workflows, integrating AI / LLMs into decision-making pipelines, managing deployments and infrastructure, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating closely with product and engineering leadership to evolve the platform.

This role sits at the intersection of  automation, DevOps, and AI systems .

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and troubleshooting  automation workflows  using tools such as  n8n or similar platforms  (Make, Zapier, Temporal, custom orchestrators)
• Solid  DevOps and deployment experience , including :

Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar)

Docker and containerized services

CI / CD pipelines and environment management

Prompting and context management

API-based model integration

Cost, latency, and reliability tradeoffs

Nice to have :
