Technical Documentation specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our Telecom Documentation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in authoring technical content for 4G / 5G network components and a deep understanding of telecom architecture and protocols. This role involves creating user guides, API documentation, and technical reference materials in collaboration with engineering teams, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documentation for 4G / 5G network components including architecture, configuration, and deployment guides.
• Develop comprehensive user manuals, API documentation, and reference materials tailored for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with telecom engineers and product teams to gather source information and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Apply structured authoring techniques using DITA XML and tools like SDL Tridion Docs and XMetaL.
• Ensure consistency, clarity, and adherence to documentation standards and style guides.
• Work closely with US-based development teams to align documentation with global standards and regional requirements.
• Review and update documentation based on product changes and feedback.
