Wordpress Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Lead Engineer who will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade WordPress solutions. While WordPress expertise is the core requirement, experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and other headless CMS platforms is a strong plus. The ideal candidate should be adaptable and open to working across different CMS platforms based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage end-to-end WordPress development projects, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

Architect and implement custom themes, plugins, and integrations tailored to business requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, design, QA, and DevOps to deliver seamless CMS experiences.

Evaluate and recommend modern CMS solutions, including headless CMS platforms, based on project needs.

Mentor and guide junior developers, driving best practices in coding, performance optimization, and security.

Ensure timely delivery, manage code reviews, and maintain documentation for technical implementations.

Required Skills & Experience :

Strong expertise in WordPress architecture, plugin development, and custom theme creation.

Hands-on experience with PHP, JavaScript (React / Node.js), HTML5, CSS3, REST / GraphQL APIs.

Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other enterprise CMS platforms.

Exposure to Headless CMS (e.g., Webiny, Concentful, Strapi, Sanity, etc.).

Familiarity with cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI / CD pipelines.

Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver complex CMS projects.

Nice to Have :

Experience migrating or integrating between multiple CMS platforms.

Knowledge of performance testing, SEO optimization, and accessibility standards.

Soft Skills :

Strong communication and client interaction skills.

Problem-solving mindset with flexibility to work on any CMS platform as required.

Ability to lead and inspire a technical team.
