BFSI Public Relations Account Director

for a leading PR Consultancy

This is a full-time on-site role for a BFSI Public Relations Account Director. The position is based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic communications plans, building and maintaining strong media relations, drafting press releases, managing client accounts, and overseeing the delivery of public relations campaigns. The role requires managing client relationships, leading a team, and ensuring results align with client expectations. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to elevate brand visibility and reputation is a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Strategic Communications to plan and implement impactful communication strategies
• Strong media relations across key media centres
• Experience with Account Management to oversee client strategies and maintain satisfaction
• In-depth knowledge of Public Relations principles and practices for reputation management
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills to drive results and build relationships
• Experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
