Job Summary

The Software Development Manager will be responsible for facilitating offshore software development operations, ensuring effective team coordination, and supporting onshore development managers.

This role involves a mix of technical leadership and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate on, and in some cases drive, the analysis, design, development, and deployment of systems.
• Lead, mentor, and manage multiple offshore software development teams, including the software engineers, business analysts, and quality assurance testers on these teams.
• Assist onshore Software Development Managers and QA Managers with team coordination, project planning, and resource allocation.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Work hands-on when necessary, with software developers to assist with tasks and troubleshooting.
• Facilitate communication, ensure timely delivery, and high-quality deliverables.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
• Other duties as assigned.
