Senior Technical Account Manager – AWS & Application Cloud Managed Services

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Delivery Project Manager to lead the delivery of our AWS and Application Cloud Managed Services. This role requires a strong combination of customer engagement, service delivery excellence, governance leadership, and cloud expertise .

As a key customer-facing leader, you will ensure that our services and initiatives align with customer goals, business priorities, and success metrics , while driving operational execution within delivery teams. You will act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring that commitments are met and value is continuously delivered.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Alignment

Act as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong, trusted relationships with business and technology stakeholders.

Align services and delivery outcomes with customer strategic goals, priorities, and transformation roadmaps .

Drive a customer-first culture within the delivery teams, ensuring priorities are understood, communicated, and executed effectively.

Conduct regular service reviews and governance sessions with customers, presenting performance metrics, risk updates, and improvement opportunities.

Proactively identify opportunities to deliver additional value (e.g., optimization, innovation, automation, modernization).

Service Delivery & Governance

Own end-to-end delivery of AWS and Application Cloud Managed Services engagements.

Ensure adherence to SLA, SLO, and KPI commitments across infrastructure, application, and operations services.

Lead governance frameworks internally and with customers, ensuring transparency, compliance, and accountability.

Track, measure, and report on delivery performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and remediation actions.

Drive continuous service improvement initiatives aligned to customer expectations and evolving business needs.

Project & Program Management

Plan and execute cloud transformation and managed services projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Define project objectives and deliverables, ensuring alignment with technical feasibility and customer needs.

Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage risks / issues proactively.

Manage project changes (scope, schedule, costs) using structured verification and governance.

Ensure financial management of projects and service engagements, meeting budgetary objectives and cost-optimization targets.

Operational Leadership

Oversee allocation and utilization of resources across delivery teams.

Lead and mentor engineers, delivery leads, and service managers to ensure effective execution.

Partner with Cloud Architects, TAMs, and SMEs to deliver AWS Well-Architected Reviews, cost optimization, and modernization initiatives .

Drive standardization, automation, and best practices across service delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of proven experience in service delivery management, project management, or program leadership within IT Infrastructure, Cloud (AWS preferred), or Application Managed Services.

Strong knowledge of AWS services, cloud operating models, and application support frameworks .

Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships , align delivery to customer priorities, and influence internal teams.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders and executives.

Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Working knowledge of ITSM frameworks (ITIL), governance models, and agile delivery practices.

Educational Background & Certifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a strong plus.

ITIL Foundation / Intermediate certification preferred.

AWS certifications (Solutions Architect / SysOps / DevOps Engineer) highly desirable.
