Role Profile :

The Data QA is a role who will work in ALSHAYAs Digital Transformation team to leverage data for analytics use cases that directly impact our ambition for best-in-class frictionless omnichannel customer experience.

This is an enterprise wide role, with the remit to benefit all our brands, in all our markets of operations, across all channels.

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to :

Adds direct value to : data engineering, analysts, data scientists, brand analytics teams
Works with : data analysts, Digital Hub product owners, IT data source owners, external data providers, Data & Analytics community of practice

Experience

Minimum 5 year of experience in Data Quality initiatives (data profiling, improvement, accuracy, completeness, data integrity, data stewardship, and data governance)

Excellent knowledge of GCP and Google Product suite including Databricks

Good knowledge of Oracle database basic programming.

Good oral and written communication skills with strong ability to write up technical reports

Business knowledge : experience in customer analytics use cases highly preferred (customer segmentation, purchase pattern analysis, propensity modelling, loyalty insights, profitability analysis, marketing response analysis)

Track record of success : demonstrated success in working with business stakeholders using data and technical environments to deliver quantifiable business benefit

Technical Knowledge :

Certified Google Cloud Data Engineer / Architect

Experience working in an AGILE environment

Advanced Java / Python / Scala coding skills

Experience with CICD pipeline and DataOps methods; managing data model deployments and tuning

Code repository management, containerisation experience

Experience with Data Security Frameworks

proficient in SQL

preferred understanding of low code / no code AI environments

Context :

strongly prefer industry with large scale B2C data

prefer experience in customer analytics

prefer experience in ALSHAYA countries of operation

prefer experience in digital transformation
