The Role

We are seeking R&D Senior Chemist to join our team. The R&D Senior Chemist will lead formulation development, optimize existing products, and drive innovation in skin care, cosmetics, and oral care. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to bring products from concept to commercialization.

Responsibilites

• Formulation Development : Design, develop, and optimize innovative and stable formulations for skin care, cosmetics, and oral care products (e.g., creams, serums, shampoos, toothpaste, etc.).
• Technical Leadership : Provide expertise in raw material selection, stability testing, and scalability for manufacturing.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure formulations meet global regulatory standards (FDA, EU, ISO, COSMOS, etc.).
• Testing & Validation : Conduct stability, compatibility, and performance testing to ensure product efficacy and safety.
• Process Improvement : Troubleshoot production issues and refine formulations for cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
• Documentation : Maintain detailed lab records, SOPs, and technical reports for internal and client review.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with Marketing, QA / QC, and Production teams to align R&D efforts with business goals.
• Guide junior chemists and lab technicians in best practices and innovation.
