CAD Technician

Mantras2success Consultants is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our client's team. This role is crucial for creating precise machine programs for punch presses and laser cutting machines based on part drawings. You will report to the mechanical / head of the design office in India and collaborate functionally with technicians in France, ensuring efficient production flows and maintaining key databases.

Main Activities

• File Conversion & Creation : Convert vector image files ( DXF ) to meet specific production needs, and if necessary, create DXF files using drawing software.
• Machine Program Creation : Create efficient machine programs by optimizing and / or creating tools and sheet sizes for punch presses and laser cutting machines .
• Database Maintenance : Maintain the punch press tool inventory and laser cutting specifications within the database.
