Job descriptionLooking for Workday HCM functional consultant with 5+ years of experience in an ERP platform with a proven track record of delivering successful projects at the enterprise level.Workday is preferred platform, Peoplesoft, Lawson, SAP, etc. also a plus.Workday Pro or Workday Partner Certification (preferred).Strong understanding of business process optimization, and operational support tasks.Extensive experience in 3+ core HCM modules : Benefits, Talent, Payroll, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Time Entry, LearningExtensive knowledge of 3+ HCM regulatory areas of concern :FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) – time tracking, overtime, and payroll compliance.IRS / Payroll Tax Compliance – payroll setup, PECI integrations, tax withholding rules.Global Payroll Integrations – country-specific compliance (HMRC in UK, GST / VAT, Canada Revenue Agency, etc.).Wage Theft Prevention & Local Labor Laws – especially when Workday is configured globally.HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) – if Workday is used for benefits or healthcare-related data.GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) – for EU data subjects, ensuring proper handling of personal data within Workday.Access & Role-Based Security (SOX) – Workday security model (domains, business process security policies, segregation of duties).Handles sensitive data responsibly.Experience with agile methodologies and SDLC tools (Jira, ADO, etc.) required.Willingness to teach / mentor team members and drive excellence across your team.Exceptional judgment balancing short-term v. long-term business needs.Excellent communication and collaboration.
