OneStream Business Analyst ( Indirect Tax)

Epergne Solutions is looking for OneStream Indirect Tax Business Analyst

Role : Business Analyst

Technical Expectations :

1. Previous experience on Indirect tax automation projects

2. In-depth understanding of 3rd party tax engines

a. OneSource indirect tax determination (OITD a product of Thomson Reuters)

b. Vertex

3. Experience with ERP system integration Preferably AP OITD-GlobalNext / Vertex - Accelerator

4. Strong knowledge of ERP (SAP) modules including SD, MM, and FI

5. Good understanding of indirect tax treatment like Sales & Use tax, GST, VAT (Preferable)

6. Understanding of Indirect tax integration with other system like Ariba, OFA, E-commerce (Preferable)

Responsibilities :

1. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

2. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

4. Performing requirements analysis

5. Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management

6. Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports

7. Be part of user acceptance testing and capture outcomes

8. Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.

9. Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

10. Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.

11. Good working knowledge of Agile / Scrum approach to software development, current technologies and frameworks.

12. Ensure that all activities adhere to any existing regulatory procedures and company SOPs.

13. Provide timely updates and escalations to reporting manager

14. Flexible working in local and overlapping time zones to meet project requirements and timelines

15. Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations on demand

16. Professional conduct with external clients, projects and cross team interactions
