Summary : As an Application Lead you will lead the effort to design build and configure applications acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application requirements are met overseeing the development process and providing guidance to team members. You will also engage in problem-solving activities ensuring that the applications are aligned with business objectives and user needs while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities : - Develop and implement ETL solutions by analyzing business functional / technical requirements- Develop and implement database solutions by analyzing business functional / technical requirements- Get involved in requirements-gathering activities like evaluating services using a variety of internal and external data and provide inputs and solutions based on current and target state of the application- Support the technical development lead and global team by working on the prioritized changes and ensure delivery of well tested signed-off and fit-for-purpose solutions- Follow and contribute to ETL best practices- Assist in quality control and project management- Identify and work with end users business analysts and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements- Collaborate with other global IT and cross-functional teams to work towards global IT solutions Professional & Technical Skills : - Must To Have Skills : Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter Strong Oracle skills Experienced with UNIX Scripting PostgreSQL ADF - Strong understanding of data integration processes ETL methodologies Data and database technologies. - Experience with data warehousing concepts and best practices.- Familiarity with database management systems and SQL.- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively.- Extensive experience as ETL developer using Informatica Power center- PostgreSQL (PL / pgSQL) and Oracle (PL / SQL) database skills- Comfortable in a Linux based server environment- Deep understanding of all aspects of the application development and support life cycle- Strong skills in analysis design development testing and support / troubleshooting with deep specialist skills in database Informatica Unix scripting reporting data modelling and data warehousing technologies.- fluent in development methods tools and techniques system- knowledgeable of banking finance and securities domain Additional Information : - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter.- This position is based at our Pune office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
