Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain applications using RPG, RPG ILE, RPG Free, SQLRPGLE, RPG / 400, and CL on iSeries (AS / 400) architecture.
Work extensively with DDS, DB2, and SQL to build robust database-driven programs.
Perform program analysis, code enhancements, and troubleshooting for existing systems.
Utilize AS400 Query, MS Excel, Client Access, and other integration tools effectively.
Develop and maintain FTP / SFTP and Web Services interfaces for data exchange.
Ensure adherence to software development standards and documentation practices.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into efficient solutions.
Apply strong analytical skills to optimize application performance and ensure data integrity.

Required Skills & Experience :

6+ years of relevant experience in RPG / AS400 development.

Proven expertise in SQLRPGLE, RPG / 400, ILE / RPG, RPG Free, CL, DDS, and DB2.

Proficiency in XML, DDM, FTP / SFTP, and Web Services.

Hands-on experience with AS400 Query, Client Access, and iSeries operations.

Excellent understanding of both software and hardware systems and their business applications.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

Knowledge of EDI processes will be an added advantage.
