Site Reliability Engineer

Job Title : Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Production Support

Location : Bengaluru

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled

Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

with strong experience in

production support, DevOps practices, and cloud infrastructure management . The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, performance, and scalability of critical systems through automation, monitoring, and proactive incident management.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide

24 / 7 production support

for business-critical applications, ensuring system uptime and reliability.

Monitor and manage system health using tools such as

PagerDuty

and

Application Performance Monitoring (APM)

tools.

Implement and maintain

CI / CD pipelines

using

Jenkins

and other automation tools.

Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.

Work with

AWS or Azure

cloud platforms for deployment, monitoring, and optimization.

Perform

root cause analysis (RCA)

and drive preventive measures for recurring incidents.

Manage and optimize

database systems

(SQL / NoSQL) to ensure availability and performance.

Develop scripts or automation tools to streamline operations and improve reliability.

Support release and deployment processes following DevOps best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

4–8 years of experience in

Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Support .

Strong knowledge of

cloud platforms

– AWS or Azure.

Hands-on experience with

Jenkins

and

CI / CD pipelines .

Proficiency in

monitoring and alerting tools

(PagerDuty, APM tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, or New Relic).

Basic to intermediate

database knowledge

(PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).

Strong understanding of

incident, change, and problem management

processes (ITSM).

Scripting experience in

Python, Shell, or Bash

is an advantage.

Excellent communication and analytical skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
