EC-Energy Events is looking for an experienced Rotating Equipment Reliability Consultant / Trainer to join our growing pool of experts supporting technical conferences, training programs, and workshops across the energy and industrial sectors.
This is a part-time, hybrid role with flexibility for virtual delivery and occasional travel.
Role Overview
As a subject-matter expert, you will design and deliver impactful training, contribute as a speaker or panelist at our international events, and support the evaluation of technical papers. Your expertise will directly shape the quality and relevance of our industry platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality training sessions (in-person and virtual) on rotating equipment reliability, diagnostics, and maintenance strategies
- Participate as a speaker, panelist, or moderator in international technical conferences and forums
- Evaluate technical papers and provide input into conference agendas
- Share practical insights on performance assessment, troubleshooting, and asset reliability improvements
- Collaborate with our team to align technical content with evolving industry challenges and trends
Requirements
Proven expertise in rotating equipment performance, diagnostics, and reliability strategiesStrong knowledge of turbomachinery, compressors, pumps, bearings, lubrication, and vibration analysisTraining or presentation experience in the energy, petrochemical, or utilities sectorExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiencesExperience in technical events, professional committees, or knowledge-sharing forums is a plusBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)If you’re passionate about advancing knowledge in rotating equipment reliability and want to share your expertise with a global audience, we’d love to hear from you!
