Key Responsibilities :ServiceNow Application Development :Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications based on business requirements.Customize ServiceNow modules , including Incident Management , Problem Management , Change Management , Request Management , Service Catalog , and CMDB .Develop custom business rules , client scripts , UI policies , UI actions , and workflows to automate processes.Create and maintain ServiceNow forms, views , and dashboards to improve end-user experience.Integrations and APIs :Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications using REST APIs , SOAP , and Web Services .Work on integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems like Active Directory , LDAP , Monitoring Tools , and CMDB .Ensure seamless data flow between ServiceNow and other platforms, ensuring data consistency and reliability.Customization & Configuration :Customize ServiceNow modules to meet specific organizational requirements and workflows.Configure ServiceNow workflows , business rules , script includes , and UI actions for process automation.Implement new features and enhance existing functionalities of the ServiceNow platform based on user feedback and organizational needs.Maintenance and Support :Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow instances, including troubleshooting issues, resolving defects, and performing upgrades.Monitor the performance of ServiceNow applications and suggest improvements or optimizations.Manage ServiceNow instances and ensure that all configurations and customizations comply with best practices.Collaboration and Communication :Work closely with ITIL process owners , project managers , and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.Participate in design and planning sessions to provide technical expertise on ServiceNow development.Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring smooth adoption and usage of ServiceNow features and capabilities.Documentation and Reporting :Document the development process, configuration changes, and integration details for future reference.Provide technical documentation for customizations, configurations, and integration points.Prepare reports and dashboards for management on service performance metrics, SLA compliance, and system usage.Testing and Quality Assurance :Perform unit testing, system testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure the reliability and accuracy of customizations and applications.Work with QA teams to ensure all code is thoroughly tested and meets the required standards.Required Qualifications :2-5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, including both customization and configuration.Strong understanding of ITIL processes, particularly Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Request Management.Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages, including JavaScript , ServiceNow Script Includes , Client Scripts , Business Rules , and UI Actions .Experience in configuring ServiceNow workflows , notifications , and service catalogs .Knowledge of REST APIs , SOAP , and Web Services for ServiceNow integrations.Familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM.Experience with ServiceNow Studio for application development.Solid understanding of SQL and Database Management in the context of ServiceNow.Ability to work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver ServiceNow solutions.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow-related issues effectively.Skills Required
