Northern Health is offering an exciting opportunity for an Unaccredited General Surgical Registrar to become a vital part of the AGSU (Acute General Surgery) team at Northern Health.

About Northern Health :

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our five main campuses :

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role :

This is a fixed-term full-time position from 24 November 2025 to 1 February 2026.

As an Unaccredited General Surgical Registrar, you will play a crucial role in delivering inpatient and outpatient care to the growing and diverse population of the Northern Suburbs. Your work will encompass both elective procedures and emergency cases, offering a stimulating and rewarding experience.

To be successful in this role you will have :

• Australian citizen, or holder of valid working VISA / ability to apply
• Holder of current AHPRA registration or equivalent / eligible to apply
• Proven knowledge and experience applicable to surgical registrar role
• Commitment to Northern Health values 'safe', 'kind', and 'together'
