Intern - Aircraft Component Analysis

Job Description : Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Modeling and Simulation : Apply and refine complex structural models using commercial Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software, primarily Abaqus .
• Methodology Development : Utilize principles of advanced mathematics and statistics to develop and test new computational frameworks for analyzing structural behavior under various conditions.
• FEA Integration and Scripting : Leverage coding / scripting experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB) to automate pre-processing, manage large simulation datasets, streamline post-processing, and ensure robust integration of analytical tools.
• Data Validation : Conduct analyses to compare simulation outcomes against reference data or physical test results to validate the developed computational methods.
• Documentation : Prepare clear and comprehensive technical reports documenting analysis procedures, findings, and model summaries.
