Job Overview : As an Area Sales Manager for Construction Chemicals, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share within your designated territory. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and distributors to promote our range of construction chemical products, providing technical support and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales and Business Development :
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, and partnerships.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Customer Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, distributors, and end-users.
- Provide technical support and product training to clients, helping them to understand the benefits and applications of our products.
- Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Market Analysis and Reporting :
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
- Analyze sales data and market insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback for senior management.
- Product, Technical Knowledge and Customer satisfaction :
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our construction chemical products, including their features, benefits, and applications.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to construction chemicals.
- Collaborate with the technical team to develop and deliver effective product demonstrations and presentations.
- Will have to advise on developing promotional materials and campaigns.
- Ensure customers receive high-quality service and support.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction chemicals industry.Strong understanding of construction chemicals, their applications, and market dynamics.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Proficient in using Phone software and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel within the designated territory as required.Skills :
