Job Description : Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Banking Consultant / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our BFSI practice team. This individual will act as an solutions expert / advisor to internal and external stakeholders, providing strategic insights, process consulting, and domain expertise across commercial banking operations. He / she will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations to drive transformation, support solution design, and ensure delivery excellence in commercial banking engagements.

Key Responsibilities :

Act as a domain consultant and advisor in commercial banking engagements across client implementations, solution design, and process improvements.

Thorough understanding of the Banking delivery function, with deep understanding of maturies, platforms, geographical requirements, clients support system, accelerators in the ecosystem

Translate complex banking processes into actionable insights and business requirements for BPS function.

Own RFP / RFI responses, solution creation, and go-to-market strategy for commercial banking offerings.

Drive, support digital transformation initiatives (e.g., process reengineering, automation, Gen AI, workflow orchestration) in client banking operations.

Collaborate with delivery and technology teams to ensure banking domain alignment in solution implementation and ongoing service delivery.

Stay current with regulatory trends, market shifts, and technology innovations in the banking sector.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

12+ years of experience in commercial banking domain , with exposure to one or more areas like corporate lending , trade finance , cash & payments , risk & compliance , client onboarding from operations standpoint.

Previous experience in consulting, transformation , or solution architect role within an BPS function is preferred.

Strong understanding of banking processes, systems , and compliance / regulatory environment.

Very good understanding of the digital banking trends, banking platforms, automation, analytics, and FinTech collaboration models is a plus.

Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations, capability decks, and process views

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Bachelor with Master’s degree in management, or related field.

Preferred :

Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Global banks, either directly or via BPS engagements.

Global exposure (UK, US, APAC, or Middle East banking regulations and practices)

LSS trained or certified
