About Project AWARE
Project AWARE advances Awareness, Readiness & Ethics in AI considering the unchecked rapid AI adoption that we have seen. We’re launching a pan-India study on how rapid AI adoption is shaping the future of work (FoW) and social mobility, short-term shifts and long-term outcomes across regions and communities.
What you’ll do
- Run literature scans and prepare concise evidence memos.
- Help design surveys / interview guides; support data collection (remote).
- Analyse findings (basic quant / qual) and draft policy briefs & research notes.
- Map sectoral use-cases (law, education, health, gig work, public services, etc.).
- Uphold research ethics (consent, privacy) and maintain tidy documentation.
You have
Background / interest in public policy, economics, sociology, law, education, AI & society (students and early professionals welcome).Strong writing and synthesis; comfort with Google Docs / Sheets.Bonus : R / Python or STATA; fieldwork experience; proficiency in an Indian language in addition to English.Curiosity about equity—perspectives from marginalized communities are especially valued.What you get
