Research Assistant

We are seeking a highly qualified Research Assistant with a PhD in Robotics and a proven track record, including two or more granted patents in the field of robotics or related technologies. This position will directly support the CTO, focusing on patent-related research, intellectual property (IP) strategy, patent documentation, and assisting with innovation management.

Responsibilities

• Support the CTO in all patent-related activities, including literature review, technology landscape analysis, and patentability assessments.
• Prepare, draft, and review patent documents (invention disclosure forms, claims,technical specifications).
• Manage patent portfolios, monitor status of applications, and maintain organized records.
• Assist with research related to new and emerging robotics technologies with patent potential.
• Liaise with inventors, legal teams, and patent offices for documentation, filing,and prosecution of patents.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant global patent laws and robotics innovations.
• Prepare regular reports regarding the status and impact of company patents.
• Ensure compliance with all IP policies and best practices.

Key Skills

Qualification : PhD in Robotics or a closely related discipline.
