Our polyglot stack blends Node.js / NestJS for product APIs and Python / FastAPI for data and ML services, backed by Aurora Postgres (+pgvector) , Redis / SQS , OpenSearch , API Gateway , ECS / EKS , and S3 .

Our competitive edge comes from institutionalizing AI-powered engineering — not as a customer-facing feature, but as an internal force multiplier . We embed AI agents and copilots into our SDLC to automate requirement-to-spec pipelines, code scaffolding, test generation, secure code reviews, migration playbooks, observability runbooks, and documentation — while ensuring SOC 2 / GDPR compliance and tenant isolation (schema-per-tenant / RLS).

Role Description

As Director of Engineering, you will report directly to the CTO and lead our Bangalore-based engineering team to deliver world-class SaaS at scale. You will be hands-on — guiding architectural decisions, writing critical code, and mentoring engineers — while building a high-performing culture that embraces AI-driven productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end engineering strategy, execution, and delivery of the SaaS platform.
• Institutionalize AI-driven development practices and measure productivity gains (lead time, change failure rate, MTTR, cost / latency per feature).
• Oversee and mentor cross-functional engineering teams (Backend, Frontend, QA, DevOps, Data).
• Define and enforce SDLC & SRE standards : CI / CD, IaC (Terraform / CDK), OpenTelemetry, SLOs.
• Build automation pipelines via GitHub Actions, ChatOps / Slack bots, and guarded prompts.
• Deliver secure, scalable multi-tenant SaaS systems with schema-per-tenant / RLS.
• Ensure SOC 2 / GDPR compliance across all engineering practices.
• Hire, retain, and grow top-tier engineering talent.
