Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PL / SQL Developer with strong experience in Oracle database development , Linux / Unix systems , and Shell scripting . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining PL / SQL code, supporting back-end database processes, and integrating with Unix-based systems via shell scripts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient PL / SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Write optimized queries and tune existing SQL queries to improve performance.
- Create and manage database objects like tables, views, indexes, and sequences.
- Develop and maintain Shell scripts for job automation, data processing, and system monitoring.
- Collaborate with application developers, DBAs, and QA teams for integration and deployment.
- Monitor scheduled jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure high availability of data processes.
- Perform impact analysis and support production issue resolutions.
- Follow version control and code deployment procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
hands-on experience with PL / SQL development on Oracle databases.Proficiency in Unix / Linux command line operations.Strong scripting skills in Bash / Shell (or equivalent).Understanding of data modeling , database design , and normalization principles.Ability to write clear, maintainable code and documentation.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN).Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development environments.Exposure to ETL tools or data warehousing concepts.Basic Understanding of Devops Tool (Jenkins)Understanding of REST APIs and basic integration techniques.Education :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or related field.(Equivalent experience will be considered.)Soft Skills :
