Cloud Security Engineer - CISSP / CISM

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to spearhead security initiatives across private cloud platforms (VMware, OpenStack). The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of compliance frameworks, and automation proficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement security controls for VMware, OpenStack, and hybrid private cloud environments.
• Harden virtual infrastructure, hypervisors, and orchestration layers.
• Secure network architecture (segmentation, firewall rules, VPNs).
• Implement encryption for data in transit and at rest.
• Manage identity and access control policies.
• Align security posture with ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS.
• Conduct gap assessments and support audit readiness.
• Maintain documentation for controls, incidents, and remediation.
• Develop scripts and automation for continuous monitoring and alerting.
• Integrate security checks into CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure workflows.
• Utilize Ansible, Python, Bash, or PowerShell for Qualifications :
• 6-9 years of experience in cloud security engineering or infrastructure security.
• Hands-on experience with VMware, OpenStack, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and access control.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and monitoring.
