Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer with expertise in Computational Geometry to join our team. The Senior Developer will play a key role in developing algorithms, data structures, and software solutions for complex geometric problems. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative computational geometry solutions in various domains.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computational Geometry, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Senior Developer or Computational Geometry Specialist with a strong focus on algorithm development.
- Expertise in computational geometry concepts, geometric algorithms, and spatial analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, or similar for algorithm implementation.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, particularly those relevant to computational geometry.
- Experience with geometry libraries and computational geometry frameworks (e.g., CGAL, Shapely, JTS, Opencascade, VTK).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions for complex geometric challenges.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with an attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development best practices.
- Familiarity with computer graphics, robotics, GIS, or other domains where computational geometry is applied is advantageous.
