PROFFER - Automation Engineer - Linux / Unix

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. Job Description :

• In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automation strategies to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and product managers, to understand requirements, design test strategies, and develop automated solutions that streamline and optimize our testing processes.
• The role demands expertise in Unix / Linux operating systems, with a deep understanding of cloud-native platforms and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes (K8S).
• You will leverage your hands-on experience with Docker and microservices to contribute to building scalable and reliable solutions.
• A solid grasp of Python, shell scripting, and Robot Framework is crucial, as these tools will be used extensively to design test cases, execute automation scripts, and troubleshoot issues.
• In addition, candidates with F-caps experience will be given a strong advantage, as this role emphasizes performance validation and integration testing within complex environments.
• You will play a key role in test case planning, design, execution, and defect analysis, ensuring that our software meets the highest quality standards.
