About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with strong scripting expertise and hands-on experience in automation tools and Linux / Unix environments.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Ansible, Python / Perl, and version control systems, with additional exposure to cloud platforms, CI / CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, maintain, and debug automation scripts using Ansible, ensuring efficient playbook creation and issue resolution.
Translate technical requirements into clean, efficient Perl / Python code.
Write and optimize Bash / Shell scripts for automation tasks (added advantage).
Manage and maintain source code repositories using SVN or Git.
Work with Linux / Unix operating systems, executing basic commands and system operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into the existing infrastructure.
Troubleshoot automation and deployment issues, ensuring smooth execution of workflows.

Required Skills & Experience :

Hands-on experience with Ansible (playbook creation & debugging).

Proficiency in Perl and / or Python scripting.

Understanding of SVN or Git version control systems.

Good knowledge of Linux / Unix OS and basic command-line operations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Added Advantage Skills :

Bash / Shell scripting expertise.

Knowledge of Kubernetes and / or Azure Cloud.

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines through Azure DevOps.

Knowledge of load balancers and related configurations.
