Job description

Job Designation : Central Revenue Manager

Location : Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Responsibilities :

1. Central Reservations

  • To handle all room reservations over digital media (Telephonic, WhatsApp etc.) for the Company
  • To understand and pass on the Company’s accommodation policy on reservations and cancellations
  • To attend reservation enquiry calls and analyze market status to suggest necessary changes
  • To get feedback on customer stays after their checkouts
  • To lead the team of Central Reservation Executives and monitor their performance
  • To raise and close any concerns raised by the customers during their stay
  • To sell the Jungle Passes to prospective customers
  • To handle reservations of Villa & Hotel categories of the Company offerings
  • To handle any other business related to reservations as and when required

2. OTA Management

  • To assist in listing new properties on different OTAs
  • To handle external systems like channel manager, web booking engines, rate comparison tools, online
  • travel agents’ extranets etc

  • To conduct pricing analytics on regular basis for each business location and suggest price ranges
  • To perform competitive analysis for each location and suggest modifications in our listings
  • To provide suggestions for revenue generation and maximization
  • To co-ordinate with the channel manager, software vendors for any availability, rate or booking
  • integration issues

  • To assist work towards revenue maximization on every front
  • 3. Central Operations

  • Conduct regular meetings with the property managers as a part of quality check
  • Monitor and maintain inventory management process and the execution of the same
  • Coordinate with other departments to maintain sync between all the members of a property
  • Monitor and guide the ground staff for regular check-ups on repair & maintenance issues
  • Implement the Company policies at the ground level to create a conducive work environment
  • Assist the HR department as and when required to resolve conflicts of the ground staff
  • Innovate and suggest new ideas and methods to improve the existing operational processes
  • Operate and guide other employees for Point-of-Sale (POS) system for F&B orders
  • To create daily MIS reports and submit them to the reporting manager
  • Qualifications & Desired Skills :

  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality management
  • Operational management experience
  • Ability to interpret and analyze consumer behavior
  • Fluency in computer operations, Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Tele-calling, tele sales experience
  • Strong communication & customer service
  • Proficiency in PMS & OTA platforms
  • Accuracy & attention to detail
  • Sales & upselling skills
  • Multitasking & time management
  • Problem-solving & coordination
  • Basic accounting & billing knowledge
  • Salary & Benefits : INR 35,000 to INR 40,000 p.m. + % incentives on reservations secured & Jungle Passes sold
