The ERM / BC Senior Analyst will perform executional and analytical tasks in support of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) programs. This individual will perform tactical duties in relation to ongoing program activities such as regular ERM risk refreshes, analytics and reporting on key firm risks, risk response validation, and maintenance of the components of the firm s BCM program. They will also assist with analytics and other tasks related to ad hoc projects led by the ERM team. The Senior Analyst will be based in one of our GT INDUS office locations and report to the GTUS ERM team.
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) :
- Risk Analysis Annual Refresh :
- Schedule, follow-up, and track status of risk analysis activities.
- Risk Analysis Reporting :
- Compile reports related to risk analysis, including spreadsheet management and creating PowerPoint presentations.
- Risk Response Validation Plans :
- Perform investigative analyses of risk responses, gather evidence to validate responses, and form conclusions on the reasonableness of risk assessments.
- Administration of ERM Risk Track Tool :
- Ensure ongoing alignment with the organizational structure, manage access, and compile risk reports using the ERM Risk Track tool.
- Ad Hoc Analysis :
- Perform special projects and requests, such as Partnership Board requests, GTIL-GTUS risk register comparisons, data exfiltration, and asset criticality.
- Key Risk Indicator Monitoring :
- Monitor ongoing key risk indicators according to ERM procedures.
Business Continuity Management :
Business Continuity Program Document Maintenance :Maintain Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Business Continuity Risk Assessments, and Business Continuity Plans.Compliance with Business Continuity Reviews :Ensure compliance with the required cadence of reviews and updates for Business Continuity documents.Business Continuity Testing and Exercises :Assist in planning and executing business continuity tests and exercises.Business Impact Analysis Execution Support :Collaborate with the business, update BIA records, challenge criticality ratings and recovery objectives, manipulate data for BIA reports, and communicate with ERM leadership.Client Information Requests and Communication :Effectively respond to client information requests related to Business Continuity and ERM, and participate in weekly Client Service Operations group meetings.Crisis Management Plan Support :Provide administrative support for ongoing updates to the Crisis Management Plan and assist the Crisis Management Team during a crisis.Qualifications
Education :Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, or another quantitative discipline, or equivalent work experience.Technical Skills :Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint .Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including pivot tables, lookups, and other analytics functions.Communication Skills :Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively interact with all levels of a professional services organization.Relationship-Building :Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to drive outcomes through interactions with GT INDUS and GTUS professionals.Time Management :Ability to organize workload effectively and operate within tight timeframes.Collaboration :Ability to work collaboratively, building consensus across multiple practices, departments, and offices.Critical Thinking :Ability to think critically and exercise good judgment to arrive at data-driven recommendations and conclusions.Grant Thornton INDUS (Full Time Employee) Benefits
