oCode Technologies is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive (Bidder) with specialized experience in securing projects through freelance platforms such as Upwork, Guru, and similar marketplaces . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning web development, front-end development, app development, and design projects through strategic bidding and compelling proposal writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform-Based Bidding : Actively monitor, identify, and pursue relevant project opportunities on freelance platforms including Upwork, Guru, Freelancer, and other similar marketplaces, with a focus on web development, front-end development, app development, and design projects.
- Technical Proposal Development : Create customized, persuasive proposals that effectively address client technical requirements while showcasing our company's expertise and capabilities.
- Client Acquisition Strategy : Develop and implement targeted approaches to secure new clients through freelance platforms, including optimizing company profiles and crafting tailored bids for different project types.
- Bid Optimization : Maintain a high success rate on bidding platforms by analyzing winning patterns, optimizing bid approaches, and implementing feedback from both successful and unsuccessful bids.
- Technical Understanding : Demonstrate solid understanding of web development, front-end development, app development, and design technologies to effectively communicate with clients and accurately assess project requirements.
- Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients on freelance platforms, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates throughout the bidding process.
- Market Research : Continuously research market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities on freelance platforms to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Negotiation and Closure : Skillfully negotiate project terms, scope, and pricing with clients to secure profitable projects that align with company capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA is a plus).Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience as a successful bidder on freelance platforms such as Upwork, Guru, Freelancer, etc., specifically for IT / technical projects.Demonstrable portfolio of successful bids and won projects in web development, front-end development, app development, and design categories.Strong technical understanding of web technologies, mobile app development frameworks, and design principles.Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling, client-focused proposals.Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.Proven negotiation and persuasion abilities with a track record of closing deals.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.Benefits
