▷ (3 Days Left) Power Electronics Engineer - R&D

Orbitt Space is building sustainable satellite platforms powered by cutting-edge electric propulsion technology to enable long-duration missions in Ultra Low Earth Orbit (ULEO) .

We’re looking for a Power Electronics R&D Engineer to join our core engineering team. You’ll design high-efficiency, high-voltage DC-DC converters and develop the Power Processing Unit (PPU) for our in-house propulsion system — from concept through testing in space-grade conditions.

What You’ll Do

• Design, simulate, and test high-voltage (up to 2kV), high-power (1kW+) DC-DC converters for space applications
• Lead schematic design, PCB layout (Altium / Cadstar / Allegro), and prototyping
• Implement thermal and EMI / EMC strategies for robust converter performance
• Develop control systems for digital and analog regulation of power electronics
• Validate and qualify systems for extreme environments and space standards
• Collaborate across propulsion, embedded systems, and integration teams
