As a Social Media Manager / Senior Social Media Manager at GrowthJockey, youāll own the brand voice, content engine, and social strategy across multiple ventures. You will drive brand visibility, build engaged communities, and transform ideas into high-impact content that inspires, educates, and converts.

š Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute multi-platform social media strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
- Build strong content calendars driven by creativity, insights, and cultural relevance.
- Own the brand narrative ā ensuring consistency, innovation, and differentiation across platforms.
š„ Content Creation & Storytelling
Conceptualize and produce high-quality content (Reels, posts, carousels, micro-videos, threads, long-form storytelling).Lead end-to-end content creation ā scripting, shooting, editing, publishing.Collaborate with design, content, and product teams to amplify key campaigns and milestones.š Growth & Analytics
Track key metrics across platforms (engagement, reach, CTR, follower growth, conversions) and optimize content accordingly.Identify trends, formats, and cultural moments to create relevant and viral-worthy content.Conduct competitor benchmarking and audience analysis to refine strategy.š¤ Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with performance marketing, SEO, brand, and community teams to ensure cohesive digital execution.Support venture teams with content strategies tailored to specific brand goals.š± Entrepreneurial Ownership
Experiment with new content formats, growth tactics, and platform features.Bring a builderās mindset ā taking ownership, moving fast, and crafting content that delivers impact.Mentor junior creators and guide external vendors / agencies when needed.⨠Requirements
Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, or related field.2-4 years of experience in social media management, content marketing, or digital storytelling.Strong hands-on content creation skills (video editing, creative writing, scripting, Canva / Adobe tools).Proven track record of having built something of your own ā personal brand, page, YouTube channel, podcast, newsletter, or any creative project.Deep understanding of social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Facebook, Threads).Strong grasp of analytics tools and ability to translate numbers into strategy.Excellent communication, creative thinking, and project management skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, experimentation-driven environment.š Nice to Have
Experience working in a startup, agency, or creator-led ecosystem.Familiarity with AI content tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Descript, etc.).Experience running influencer collaborations and community-building initiatives.Understanding of brand positioning and digital storytelling frameworks.
