Job Description

• Keep Track of Industry Charging Standards and Protocols and Create / Modify Charging Modes. Competitors' Products Benchmarking and Documentation.
• Staying up to date with industry charging standards and protocols, creating or modifying charging modes, and proficiency in benchmarking competitors' products and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Competitors' products benchmarking and documentation. competitive analysis, planning, positioning, and roadmap development.
• Bringing down business and market needs to detailed system and subsystem / component requirements and design concepts.
• Preparation of compliance / RFQ documents for clients. Product management with cross-functionality team.
• Prepare and manage the charger and charging management system (CMS) requirement.
• Work on new function advancement related to the charger and charging management system (CMS). CMS integration and validation with a different type of charger.
• Support customers for FAT at field trials. Field issues support at the initial phase.
• To ensure timely updates of all processes / functional documentation.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct comprehensive design reviews, providing critical feedback and ensuring that all design aspects align with project goals and industry standards.
• Facilitate collaboration between engineering teams, R&D and the NPI to address design challenges and optimize solutions up to mass production.
• Oversee the product approval process in compliance with NABL labs and global certification bodies such as ARAI, ICAT, UL, and TUV.
• Ensure that all products meet required standards and obtain necessary certifications for market readiness.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation as per AIS standards, including design records, project reports, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure that all engineering documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
• Keep track of industry charging standards and protocols and create charging protocols for the company.
• Execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research.
• Lead, mentor, and support the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and skill enhancement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including internal NPI, SCM, Sales teams, customers, and certification bodies.
• Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions effectively to ensure alignment and satisfaction

The Successful Applicant

• B.Tech / M.Tech n electrical engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 10-12 years of experience in system design and engineering, with a focus on electric vehicle chargers or related technologies.
• Solid foundation in electrical and electronics principles.
• Proven experience in project tracking, design review processes, and managing product approvals.
• Understanding and Segregation of Existing and New Technologies Based on Customer / Tender
• Should be adept at differentiating between existing and emerging technologies based on customer requirements and tenders.
• Well-Versed in Technical Aspects of Field Projects, Including Product Knowledge and Site Conditions
• Extensive knowledge of NABL labs, ARAI, ICAT, UL, TUV certification processes, and IASA documentation standards.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing engineering teams and projects.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and analytical approach.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders
