NovaaOne - Associate - Investment Banking

Overview :

The Investment Banking Associate is an intermediate level position responsible for providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Investment Banking team. The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisory to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.

Key Analysis :

• Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuation, and analysis of companies, industries, and potential transactions.
• Create discounted cash flow (DCF) models, comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transaction analysis.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.

Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing financial models, reports, and presentations.

Time Management : Ability to thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment working long hours. Multi-tasking and meeting accelerated schedules and urgent deadlines with a short turnaround time.

Technical Proficiency : Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (working knowledge of Bloomberg, Capital IQ will be an advantage).

Key Competencies : Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. High level of professionalism and integrity. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with colleagues at all levels. Proactive and results-driven approach to work.

Experience : 3-5 years experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or a related field.

Qualification : Bachelors degree in finance, Economics, Business, or Engineering / MBA from top tier Institute / CA. CFA designation is preferred.
