Role Overview
The National Head – HORECA & B2B will drive the overall growth, profitability, and expansion of Band's institutional business across hotels, corporates, hospitals, and new B2B segments. This role demands a hands-on leader who owns the P&L, builds meaningful client partnerships, and delivers operational excellence through a focused, mid-sized team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and grow the HORECA and B2B vertical, ensuring strong sales, profitability, and long-term client retention
- Take direct ownership of large accounts and national contracts with hotel chains, F&B clients, and institutions
- Build and nurture strong relationships with F&B departments, purchase heads, and key decision-makers across the hospitality and corporate sectors
- Develop and implement product demonstration strategies to effectively position Brand's premium teas and drive conversions
- Appoint and manage the right distributors, ensuring proper training, motivation, and business generation
- Develop and implement systems for distributor training, incentives, and accountability
- Identify and expand into new segments — including corporates, hospitals, universities, and emerging institutional categories
- Manage a mid-sized, high-performing team, driving efficiency, accountability, and motivation
- Continuously track market trends and competition to identify growth opportunities and optimize business strategy
Requirements :
Above 45 years+ with 20 years of proven experience in FMCG or allied industriesExperience in organizations dealing with vending machines, pasta, breakfast cereals, frozen foods, or cocktail / mocktail mixersNot from commodity (staples, oils) or gourmet / luxury niche backgroundsHands-on experience in product demonstrations, institutional selling, and customer engagementStrong experience in distributor appointment, training, and managementDeep understanding of the HORECA ecosystem and comfort working with F&B departments in hotels and InstitutionsProven ability to own P&L, scale business units, and deliver measurable growthStrong relationship-building and negotiation skills — both with clients and internal teamsLeadership experience in managing mid-sized teams while maintaining high efficiency and outputEntrepreneurial mindset with a focus on business expansion and execution excellenceMandatory Requirements :
