Key Responsibilities :
- Support delivery of annual objectives set by the Project Management Leadership Team, including continuous improvement and digital enablement initiatives
- Propose and lead strategic improvement projects to enhance organizational performance and project delivery outcomes
- Engage stakeholders across disciplines, regions, and business units to support alignment and knowledge sharing
- Maintain strong working relationships with project teams to ensure excellence initiatives address current operational needs
- Collaborate with key partners to share best practices, drive standardization and simplification, and foster innovation
- Help mature and scale newly deployed digital project management tools and represent the business in development initiatives
- Facilitate cross-functional engagement meetings and ensure alignment of project management improvement efforts with business strategy
- Support integration of new technologies and methodologies into bp's project ecosystem
- Encourage a culture of learning, feedback, and experimentation to drive performance
Education Requirements :
Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or civil engineering from an accredited / chartered universityRequired Experience & Skills :
12+ years of total experience, with at least 10 years in the energy industry focused on project management, construction, commissioning, or project controlsProven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives across stakeholders and geographiesStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organizationExcellent prioritization and multitasking capabilitiesInclusive mindset and strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain collaborative relationshipsAbility to work in ambiguity and navigate limited or evolving dataWorking knowledge of industry standards in project management (e.g., APM, PMI)Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and SharePointPreferred Experience & Skills :
International experience on large-scale energy projectsExperience in complex organizational structures with multiple stakeholdersProject Management Chartership (PMI, APM or equivalent)Familiarity with Power BI or similar analytics platformsUnderstanding of digital tool integration in project environmentsSkills Required
