Overview
The PMO Analyst / Manager is a vital governance and support role responsible for standardizing project and program management practices across the organization.
This position requires Experienced proficiency in both Project / Program PMO functions and Project Level PMO support.
A key focus is on managing global complexities, including handling stakeholders in different geos and working with Global customers, particularly those within the financial services sector.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PMO professional to drive project governance, financial control, and reporting for our global programs. The ideal candidate must have a thorough understanding of the Project SDLC, proven experience in managing project financials, and expertise in maintaining key control logs (RAID). This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to chair Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings, and a background in servicing financial services customers.
Key Responsibilities and Governance Deliverables
Governance and Methodology :
- Have a thorough understanding on Project SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) / governance and ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies across all assigned projects and programs.
- Provide hands-on support for Project Level PMO activities, ensuring documentation, processes, and control mechanisms are consistently applied.
Financial Management :
Demonstrate expertise in Project / Program Financials / budgeting and tracking, including forecasting, variance analysis, burn rate monitoring, and reporting on expenditure against the approved budget.Risk, Action, Issue, and Dependency (RAID) Management :
Expertly manage the RAID log management process, ensuring risks are promptly identified, assessed, mitigated, and clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders.Executive Reporting and Stakeholder Communication :
Take ownership of high-level communication, including setting up steerco meetings and chairing it effectively to drive decisions and manage risks.Responsible for working on executive reports / steerco deck / etc (e.g., status reports, dashboards) that provide clear, concise, and accurate summaries of project health to senior leadership and customers.Global Collaboration :
Proven experience in handling stakeholders in different geos (geographies), adapting communication styles and processes to meet diverse global requirements.Mandatory experience in working with Global customers, ensuring PMO services align with client contractual and reporting needs.Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
