Job Description :

Role Name : Lead Networking Engineer Digital Business Unit.

Reporting Structure : Manager, Engineering Center of Excellence.

Business Segment : Sensia Digital Solutions and Services.

Role Purpose / Summary :

As a key member of a dynamic fast growing business unit provide networking design expertise insuring a smoothly performing digital system from edge collection through cloud utilization.

This role will serve as a key member of technology developments providing networking expertise to all developments.

Further, the individual will provide networking expertise to project execution teams as required and provide design oversight and approval to networking aspects of digital proposals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Designing and implementing new network solutions and / or improving the efficiency of current networks.
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
• Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Collaborating & coordinating with technology & security teams.
• Planning & arranging scheduled upgrades.
• Investigating faults in the network.
• Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
• Reporting network status to key stakeholders.
• Implementing, monitoring, and deploying disaster recovery systems and measures.
• Collaborating & approving network design in complex digital solution project proposals.
