City Head – Operations & Growth

About the Role :
We’re building India’s fastest on-demand home services platform, delivering quality services within minutes through a hyperlocal network of trained and verified professionals. Backed by leading venture investors, we’re redefining convenience, speed, and reliability in home services.
As City Head , you will lead the overall business operations and growth strategy for your city. This is a mission-critical role that blends strategic thinking with strong on-ground execution. You’ll be responsible for scaling supply, managing training and quality, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build & Scale Supply
- Drive onboarding of trained and verified home service professionals (primarily maids and technicians).
- Leverage local hiring channels, community partnerships, and referral networks.
- Ensure a steady pipeline of experts to meet city demand.
2. Lead Training & Quality
Design and implement training programs to upskill service experts.Monitor service performance and maintain quality benchmarks.Run retraining and continuous improvement programs.3. Ensure Operational Excellence
Track and improve key operational metrics : order fulfillment, cancellations, turnaround time.Resolve on-ground challenges quickly and creatively.Strengthen city-level processes and SOPs for smoother execution.4. Team Leadership
Hire, manage, and mentor field operations and city management teams.Build a high-trust, high-accountability culture focused on ownership and performance.Drive motivation and alignment around key operational and customer targets.5. Optimize Costs & Efficiency
Track city P&L metrics and ensure positive unit economics.Identify inefficiencies and implement cost-optimization initiatives.Collaborate with central teams (Product, Tech, Supply Chain) for process improvements.6. Drive Local Strategy & Growth
Adapt central playbooks to the unique dynamics of your city.Launch local experiments and drive growth initiatives.Share insights, learnings, and performance updates with leadership.Qualifications
8–12 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or field management within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Proven leadership skills with experience managing large field or city teams.Strong analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-changing business priorities.Why Join Us
