Role Summary :
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with existing clients, ensuring that agreements with both the company and AMCs are effectively tracked and closed. This role requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of the domain to effectively engage with AMCs, identify challenges, and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities :
New AMC Acquisitions
- Own the sales funnel for AMCs where Cybrilla is not yet contracted or live.
- Identify stakeholders (business, digital, operations, compliance) and run structured outreach, demos, and follow-ups.
- Work closely with the CEO to drive proposals, commercial negotiations, and closure of new AMC partnerships.
Cross-Sell & Upsell to Existing AMCs
For AMCs where Cybrilla is already integrated, identify opportunities to expand scope (new products, new journeys, higher volumes).Pitch and close additional use cases across our API suite (onboarding, transactions, operations, ONDC rails, etc.).Track usage, adoption, and opportunities to increase wallet share at each AMCRelationship Management & Feedback Loop
Meet AMC stakeholders regularly (CXOs, Product, Digital, Operations, Compliance) to build strong rapport and trust.Understand their roadmap, pain points, and gaps in current processes.Channel this feedback internally to Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to help us build scalable, repeatable solutions.First Point of Contact & Issue Ownership
Be the primary point of contact for your AMC accounts for escalations, clarifications, and ongoing conversations.Coordinate with internal teams (Tech, Ops, Compliance, Support) to ensure timely resolution of issues.Proactively communicate status, next steps, and timelines to clients.Governance, Contracts & Documentation
Work with the leadership team to push agreements to closure (MSAs, SLAs, addendums, commercials).Ensure all discussions, decisions, and commitments are properly documented and tracked.Maintain a clear view of account health, open items, and expansion opportunities using CRM / trackersMust-Have Skills :
5-7 years of experience in the Mutual Fund industry - preferably in roles with AMCs, RTAs, or MF-focused fintechs.Prior experience in B2B sales, key account management, or institutional relationship roles (AMCs, distributors, platforms).Strong understanding of AMC workflows - operations, compliance, digital journeys, and distribution.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – comfortable presenting to CXOs and senior stakeholders.Problem-solving mindset, capable of understanding client challenges and working towards efficient resolutions.Highly organised and detail-oriented - able to track multiple conversations, agreements, and follow-ups simultaneously.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with internal departments to ensure successful outcomes.Comfortable in a field-heavy role in Mumbai – frequent in-person meetings with AMCs.What’s in it for you?
