Private Banking Team Head - Eastern India (Playing Captain)

Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Private Banking Team Head in a ' Playing Captain ' role to establish and lead our private banking operations in Eastern India. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a high-performing team from scratch, developing strategic client relationships, and driving the growth of our private banking services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Team Development : Build and manage a high-performing private banking team, including hiring, training, and mentoring staff to ensure top-tier client service and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Client Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), and their families.
- Strategic Planning : Formulate and implement strategies to increase the market share of private banking services in Eastern India, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
- Product Development : Collaborate with product teams to enhance private banking offerings tailored to the needs of HNW and UHNW clients.
- Sales and Revenue Growth : Drive sales initiatives, create and implement sales plans, and track performance metrics to ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Risk Management : Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies to mitigate risks associated with private banking operations.
- Market Analysis : Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in private banking services.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional qualifications (CFA, CFP) are preferred.Minimum 10 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or related financial services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Skills :
