Role Summary :
We are looking for a skilled and passionate MERN Stack Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for developing scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll out new features that deliver on our product vision.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop responsive, high-performing, and reusable front-end components using ReactJS (with Hooks and Redux)
- Build robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs using NodeJS and ExpressJS, Integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly
- Work with MongoDB for database design, indexing, and optimization
- Participate in Agile ceremonies : sprint planning, daily stand-ups, grooming, and retrospectives
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack
- Optimize performance, implement security protocols, and maintain data integrity
- Write and maintain unit / integration tests for high code quality
- Maintain clear documentation and contribute to continuous improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications :
2- 4 years of hands-on experience with the full MERN stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, NodeJS)Strong in JavaScript (ES6+), ReactJS (with Hooks), and state management using Redux / Redux ToolkitExperience building RESTful APIs and working with JSONComfortable with version control systems (e.g., Git)Understanding of CI / CD workflows and Agile development practicesFamiliarity with MongoDB aggregation pipelines, indexing, and performance tuningProficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and preprocessors like SASS / LESSGood problem-solving and communication skillsGood to Have :
Experience with TypeScriptFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization toolsExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment pipelinesExperience with Microservices architectureKnowledge of ElasticSearch integrationFamiliarity with Jest, Mocha, or other testing frameworks(ref : hirist.tech)
