Transportation Planner / Fleet Manager

Role Overview :

Our client is looking for an experienced Transportation Planner / Fleet Manager to manage and optimize fleet operations, route planning, and transportation efficiency. This role is critical to ensuring timely deliveries, cost control, and compliance across our logistics network.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan and optimize transportation routes for cost efficiency and timely delivery.
• Manage fleet operations, including vehicle allocation, maintenance, and utilization.
• Monitor daily dispatch schedules and ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and delivery teams for smooth operations.
• Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, fuel efficiency, and cost per trip.
• Implement transportation management systems (TMS) and digital tracking tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements in fleet Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in transportation planning or fleet management (E-commerce / Retail preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, route optimization tools, and TMS platforms.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
