Description
We are seeking an experienced Export Documentation & Logistics Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of export documentation and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintain smooth logistics processes, and contribute to the efficiency of our export operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all export documentation processes to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure timely and accurate documentation for shipments.
- Maintain relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Prepare and review export invoices, packing lists, and other necessary documentation for shipments.
- Monitor shipment status and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze logistics performance and identify areas for improvement in documentation processes.
- Train and mentor junior staff on export documentation and logistics best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.5-8 years of experience in export documentation and logistics management.Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs laws, and export compliance requirements.Proficiency in logistics software and tools, including ERP systems and documentation management systems.Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to handle documentation discrepancies and logistics challenges.Skills Required
