The Global Trade Content Manager is a pivotal role responsible for leading a team responsible for the accurate compilation and in-depth understanding of the Harmonized System (HS). This position involves overseeing the management of trade content including HS codes duties and charges prohibitions and restrictions government agencies customs rulings and other trade-related documents. The role demands strong leadership skills and the ability to foster continuous improvement in research methodologies content quality and the exploration of automation opportunities while keeping up to date with changing global trade regulations.
About the role
In this role as a Manager - Global Trade Content you will :
Lead a team of analysts in conducting research and compiling HS data across multiple countries with an emphasis on sourcing reliable information verifying data accuracy converting records into a standardized electronic format and maintaining rigorous quality standards for final deliverables.
Partner with the Global Trade Content leadership team to establish standardised procedures for updating content data elements deliver relevant metrics to the wider group and facilitate the achievement of internal objectives.
Promote the standardization of processes in alignment with global functional requirements while continuously improving procedures to achieve higher levels of accuracy and efficiency.
Consistently harness technology and AI solutions to drive continuous improvements in efficiency and productivity embedding innovative digital tools into every aspect of trade content maintenance and operational workflow.
Achieve Service Level Agreement metrics through the application of established procedures and effective coordination in prioritizing work activities.
Work closely with product management and technology teams to develop solutions for our offerings and support with testing efforts to ensure proper functionality.
Take an active role in planning and executing global initiatives partnering with cross-functional teams.
Establish and maintain a high-performing collaborative culture aligned with TR values.
Drive talent development succession planning and retention strategies.
Offer clear vision effective coaching and consistent motivation to improve overall team performance.

About You
Youre a fit for the role of Manager - Global Trade Content if your background includes :
Bachelors degree in International Trade Business Supply Chain or related field.
7 years of related work experience and 1-2 years in managing a team.
Extensive knowledge of Harmonized System customs regulations and international trade compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven decision making.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
Technology proficiency and familiarity with AI-powered solutions.
Exceptional leadership abilities in managing teams and delivering high-quality results.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
