Job Responsibilities
The Fleet Engineer must ensure that his AME License / Authorization is current and valid for the type of aircraft / engine / systems to be certified by him.Carry out the inspection and certification of work pertaining to the maintenance of airframe and power plant systems and components within the scope of his License / Authorization.Ensure that all work performed in connection with maintenance is in accordance with manufacturer requirements / recommendations.Ensure that approved methods, tooling, procedures and materials are used in carrying out the said work.Ensure all work orders and inspection schedules are properly completed & certified before issuing CRSs.Ensure snags observed during inspections and those reported by the flight crew are rectified using approved methods. Major defects and rectifications must be promptly reported and addressed.Ensure that all tools and equipment used during maintenance are calibrated, serviceable and not mishandled.Ensure that only approved materials and parts are used, and approved spares have proper documentation and certification before installation.Ensure that during handling of panels / liners, tools and servicing of aircraft / components, all safety precautions are followed.Report to MCC / Shift-Incharge whenever any defect is reported by the flight crew or observed.Mentor technicians and ensure they have read the OAN, GIC and other technical instructions as issued.Maintain discipline and a clean working environment.Be in full uniform & presentable as per company guidelines at all times while on duty.Ensure implementation of Safety Policy and the safety management system within the airline engineering.Guide AMEs & Technicians and act as Shift-in-Charge in absence of SIC.Ensure that the station / shift is adequately equipped with required manpower as per station approval.Perform other duties as assigned by Manager Line Maintenance.Be aware of and comply with safety responsibilities and accountabilities as laid down in the airline SMS Manual, Chapter Safety Policy and Objectives.Interested candidates who meet the criteria may apply here or share their updated CV at : [HIDDEN TEXT]
